After a nine-month deployment, the Mississippi National Guard welcomed home the 367th Maintenance Company based in Philadelphia on Friday, Nov. 17, just in time for the holidays.

Families and friends gathered at the 172nd Airlift Wing to welcome their servicemen home. Led by 1st Lt. Rayshonn Brown, company commander of the 367th Maintenance Company, a subordinate unit of the 184th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, the company deployed to Grafenwoehr, Germany, in early February to support the European Deterrence Initiative. The unit provided maintenance support to deployed forces in the area, according to a Mississippi National Guard press release.

“The experience was great. We were able to work with the 18th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, which is an active-duty unit stationed. The soldiers were able to improve their vehicles and weapons as far as maintenance,” Brown said.

The 367th Maintenance Company improved military vehicle and equipment readiness by 30% while supporting the 18th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion in Grafenwoehr. Part of the 16th Sustainment Brigade, the 18th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion supports missions and operations around the globe, serving for the U.S. Army Europe and the 21st Theater Sustainment Command.

The 367th Maintenance Company successfully completed its missions, and its members are excited to be home to celebrate the holidays with family and friends, according to the press release.
