They acquire Accelerated Reader points for the books they read and it is counted as part of their grade. This is hard to do when books are limited. Meridian Board of Realtors will be accepting monetary donations and using it to purchase scholastic readers for all age levels. Checks can be made payable to MBR. Scholastic readers will be accepted, too.

Those members include: Aimee Lacy, Carol McElroy, JoAnn McPherson, Sarita Rainey, Sharon Pompelia, Beverly Odom and Laurie Cobb.

The MBR office is located at 4927 Highway 493. For more information, call 601-485-7113.
