The Key Brothers Hangar at Meridian Regional Airport in Meridian was filled with families for the annual “Wings and Tails” benefit Thursday evening. The event served as a fundraiser for the Mississippi Council of the Navy League, enabling the organization to help local members of the military and their families, including NAS Meridian and the NJROTC program at Northeast Lauderdale High School. Attendees enjoyed fried catfish, boiled shrimp and chicken wings caught up with friends while viewing military and civilian aircraft and antique cars on display.
