Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:

    • Driving Under the Influence (DUI), first offense – Monica Yolanda Moore, 50, 1704 19th Ave., Meridian.

Moore is also charged with careless driving, driving with a suspended license and violation of insurance card in vehicle law.

    • Willful trespassing – Carolyn Ann Pratt, 47, 2900 St. Paul St., Meridian. Pratt is also charged with disorderly conduct.

    • DUI, first offense – Nita Breedlove Samuelson, 52, 1247 Long Creek Road, Meridian. Samuelson is also charged with careless driving.

    • Simple assault – Jantarius M. Stidmon, born in 1994, 532 54th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault, threat – Mealetha Stidmon, born in 1968, 2035 25th Ave., Meridian.

    • Petit larceny – Gerrod J. Walker, born in 1984, 1294C Sandflat Road, Meridian.

    • 500 block of 11th Avenue, Meridian.

    • 2300 block of Lake View Golf Course, Meridian.

Shooting

     Meridian police responded to 1 shots-fired call. Officers were unable to find evidence to support the call.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:

    • Burglary of dwelling, house – Maurice Antione Blackshear, 30, 3813 Valley Street, Meridian.

    • DUI, first offense – Casey T. Clark, 27, 3541 Broad St., Lisman, AL. Clark is also charged with running a stop sign.

    • Disorderly conduct – Angela Michelle Franklin, 32, 10277 McCraw Road, Meridian.

    • Failure to appear (justice court) – Lynn M. Hoffer-Wilkinson, 30, 2977 Rob Simms Road, Meridian. Wilkinson is also charged with improper equipment, violation of insurance card in vehicle law and driving with a suspended license.

    • Possession of marijuana, first offense – Steven Dewayne King Jr., 18, 4408 37th St., Meridian.

    • Motor vehicle theft, felony – Brian Ray Mabry, 40, 2165 Wilkerson Loop Road, Meridian.

    • DUI, first offense – Jatorius Sharod Williams, 22, 6308 Oakland Forest Court, Meridian. Williams is also charged with seat-belt violation, no liability insurance and  possession of marijuana, first offense.
