Bobby and JoAnna Reeves of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Katherine, to Ryan Parker Temple, son of Waylon and Denise Temple of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 6 p.m. at Northpark Church.

    Miss Reeves is the granddaughter of Howard and Mary Reeves and the late Edward and Elouise McKee.

    The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of West Lauderdale and a 2012 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received her bachelor of science degree in nursing. She currently attends the University of South Alabama, where she is in Nurse Practitioner School.

    While attending USM, she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority, Sigma Theta Tau international nursing honor society, Eagle Connection, Student Nurses Association and the Wayday Foundation.

    Miss Reeves is employed by Anderson Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse in the critical care unit.

    Mr. Temple is the grandson of Jeanette Mathis and the late Sam H. Foy and the late Cecil and Ola Kate Temple.

    The bridegroom-elect is a 2005 graduate of West Lauderdale and attended North East Texas Community College, Meridian Community College and Mississippi State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing.

    While attending North East Texas Community College and Meridian Community College, he was a member of the baseball team.

    Mr. Temple is employed by Newell Paper Company as a sales representative.

    A reception will be held at Soule’ Steam Feed Works.
