Golden Apple awards program broadcast dates announced

The Meridian Family of Stations Bounce TV and Cozi TV of Meridian have set a schedule for broadcasting the 2017-18 Golden Apple awards program.

Sheila Hodge, a fifth grade math teacher at Southeast Middle School, was named the Golden Apple Teacher of the Year at the program on May 24 at the Tommy E. Dulaney Center at Meridian Community College.

 

The program will be shown: 

• 11 a.m. Sunday, June 3, WMDN CBS 24.

• 5 p.m. Sunday, June 3, COZI 24.2.

• 9 p.m. Sunday, June 3, EGBC FOX 30.

• 10 p.m. Sunday, June 3, WGBC NBC 30.

• 6 p.m. Monday, June 4, BOUNCE 24.2.

Also honored were at the awards program were: Cindy Strickland of Newton Elementary (September); Bob Meng of T.J. Harris Elementary (October), Michelle Davis of Quitman High School (November); Candice Maloney of Northeast High School (December); Leah Walker of Newton County Elementary (February); Pam Hampton of Quitman Upper Elementary School (March) and Sandra Crawford of West Lauderdale Elementary (April).
