• 8 a.m.-5 p.m. – Tax-Free Weekend – Take your old backpack to Loeb’s and receive $20 toward the purchase of a new backpack. Bring your Loeb’s receipt to The Max to receive $5 admission. Loeb’s will give all donated backpacks to Hope Village for Children.

• Mississippi Writers Guild Conference to be held at the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience. Speakers for the conference include Dr. Alan N.
