A deck at a home on East Parkway North in the Dalewood community collapsed around 10 p.m. Tuesday but no serious injuries were reported.

Seven people were taken to hospitals for non-life threatening injuries, according to Lauderdale County Sherriff Billy Sollie.

“Some Navy personnel were having a party and the deck collasped,” Sollie said.

Lauderdale County sherriff’s deputies, Metro Ambulance and Lauderdale Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call.
