Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday:
• Burglary/dwelling house – Rodney Lipsey, 25, 1526 48th Ave., Meridian.
• Burglary/dwelling house – Alfonzo L. McDonald, 32, 2301 43rd Ave., Meridian. McDonald is also charged with probation violation/parole.
• Shoplifting – Samuel C. Keely, born in 1982, 7634A Pine Ridge Road, Meridian.
• Telephone harassment – Jeanee L. Dunn, born in 1993, 621 19th St., Meridian.
Incident Reports
The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Monday to Tuesday:
Residential burglary
• 4500 block of 25th St. at 10:45 a.m.
• 1900 block of 42nd Ave. at 11:51 p.m.
• Meridian Police responded to 4 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene only one showed evidence to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday.
• No driver’s license – Dqarius Terrell Miller, 24, 3340 Knox Road, Toomsuba.
