The Mississippi Blood Services blood drive with Chunky River Harley Davidson, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 25, has been postponed.

MBS apologized for the inconvenience to donors, in a news release, and stated it would notify the community when a new date has been scheduled.

Two additional drives are scheduled in August in Meridian.

• The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department has scheduled a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21. The MBS Donor Coach will be at 2001 5th St. in Meridian. Donors will receive a T-shirt (while supplies last).

• Meridian Community College will host the MBS Donor Coach from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 22 and 23. Donors will receive a T-shirt (while supplies last) and they will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 gift card.
