Appreciates daily delivery of The Meridian Star
The last several days I have been putting together a scrapbook for my son from 1990 to the present, using newspaper clippings from The Meridian Star.
Trending
Newspaper clippings pertain to his senior year in high school, articles when he started to coach basketball in the 1990s, articles he has written regarding turkey hunting. All these have been published by The Star.
In the early 2000s, my brother retired from coaching girls’ basketball at Meridian High School. At his retirement, he was presented two huge scrap books of Meridian Star articles regarding his coaching career.
Everyone I’ve talked to would rather pay extra each month instead of cutting days. Reading The Star is a family tradition for us. We have at least five households in our immediate family who look forward to the paper each day.
