Two area housing agencies will be partnering to provide the community with a Rental Assistance Information Training later this month.

On Sept. 17, Multi-County Community Service Agency and the Meridian Housing Authority will give the community information about seeking rental assistance in the upcoming year from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Multi-County, located at 2906 St. Paul St.

Topics of discussion will include: emergency solutions grant homeless prevention, rapid rehousing, communitive services division, low-income home energy assistance program, rental assistance eligibility, document requirements, timeline to obtain assistance, reasons for denial and housing authority referrals for rental assistance.
