Three Lauderdale County teams took to the fields Friday night as the 2024 football season got underway. Here is a look at the scores:

— The Clarkdale Bulldogs fell to visiting Tylertown with a final score of 0-34. The team will next head to Collinsville to take on in-county rival West Lauderdale on the Knights home turf.

— At Southeast High School, the Tigers put points on the board but weren’t able to close the gap between themselves and Noxapater. After four quarters, Noxapater took home the win with a final score of 35-7. Southeast will be on the road next week as they take on the Richland Rangers.

— The Lamar Raiders also faced a tough game in Friday’s matchup as they fell 22-28 against Presbyterian Christian in Hattiesburg. The Raiders will next host Winston Academy at Grey Cobb Field.

— The Northeast Lauderdale Trojans broke the mold Friday taking victory over Pelahatchie with a score of 42-0 on the road. The team is set to travel to Flora next to take on Tri-County Academy.

Kickoff for all four teams is set for Friday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m.
