Oak Valley Plantation in Vacherie, La., was the setting for the Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, wedding of Miss Blair Bailee Miller of Meridian and Mr. John Samuel Dailey III of Decatur with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Davis Miller of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. John Dailey II of Decatur.

Grandparents of the bride are Mr. Loyd Miller and the late Mrs. Billie Miller of Quitman and Mrs. Carolyn Neal and the late Mr. Doug Neal of Meridian.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Sam Dailey of Fairhope, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Brown of Lake. His grandparents are Mrs. Billie Ingram and the late Mr. Thurmond Ingram of Linden, Ala.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Scottero ballgown with illusion off-the-shoulder sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and illusion back, all adorned with lace appliques and Swarovski crystals, complete with a tulle skirt.

Maid of honor was Mary Sullivan Benton of Pelham, Ala. Other attendants were Brianna Dailey of Decatur, Amelia Ramsey of Memphis, Tenn., Anna Bowling of Corinth, Taylor Hollingsworth of Oxford, Emily Nester of Hattiesburg, and Abby Sollie and Erin Cooley of Meridian.

The father of the bridegroom served as best man.

Groomsmen and ushers were Tanner Dailey of Decatur, Carson Miller of Meridian, Ricky Holman of New York, New York, Justin Callais of Cut Off, Louisiana, Zach Skelton of Chunky, Nik Jablonski of Boston, Maine, and Reagan Warren of Conehatta.

Register attendant was Jordan Easterling and rice bag attendant was Carrie Campbell.

Music for the ceremony was provided by the Fine Arts String Ensemble of New Orleans.

A reception was held at Oak Alley with Dr. Jazz and the New Orleans Sound providing music.

After a honeymoon Caribbean cruise, the couple resides in Daphne, Ala.
