The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday.

Sept 6

  • Domestic violence — 200 23rd St. Apt. 122, Meridian
  • DUI — 2015 Mosby Rd. Apt. B4, Meridian

Sept 7

  • Shoplifting — 736 North Hills St., Meridian
  • Shoplifting — 5120 D Ave., Meridian

Sept 8

  • Disturbance of a business — homeless
  • DUI refusal — 1 Mountrose Ct., Hattiesburg

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Friday through Monday.

Sept 6

  • Commercial burglary — 2200 block of Highway 45 North at 6:27 a.m.

Sept 8

  • Commercial burglary — 2400 block of North Hills Street at 3:14 a.m.
  • Commercial burglary — 2300 block of Highway 19 North at 3:50 p.m.
  • Auto burglary — 2000 block of 48th Avenue at 8:53 a.m.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday.

Sept 6

  • Controlled substance; possession with intent to sell, transfer, distribute and contempt of court for failure to appear or complete jury service
  • DUI first offense

Sept 7

  • DUI first offense, no/expired driver’s license, failure to maintain liability insurance and leaving the scene of an accident
  • Probation violation
  • Possession of methamphetamine

Sept 8

  • Public drunk
  • Shoplifting first offense and contempt of court for failure to comply with court order
  • Simple domestic violence, disorderly conduct:interfering with lawful order, resisting/obstructing arrest, violation of seat belt law, no/expired driver’s license, failure to maintain liability insurance, careless driving and improper equipment
