- Submitted photoFreshman liberal arts major Corban Nutt (center) of Pelahatchie and East Rankin Academy was selected as East Central Community College’s Most Beautiful at the annual Beauty Pageant held March 5 in Huff Auditorium. Twenty-eight East Central students participated in the event. Named Beauties were (from left) Makaeya Brock, a sophomore liberal arts major from Decatur and Newton County High School; Laken Winstead, a sophomore communications major from Philadelphia and Neshoba Central High School; Nutt; Rebekah Scitzs, a freshman pre-nursing major from Collinsville and West Lauderdale High School; and Allison Harris, a sophomore pre-veterinary medicine major from Collinsville and West Lauderdale High School.
