• 10 a.m. – The Kemper County Chamber of Commerce along with the Kemper Historical Society will have its July 4th celebration at the Kemper County Courthouse. There will be a presentation of the Sonny Montgomery Patriotic Award immediately followed by the unveiling of the new Rubin Kemper historical marker on the east side of the courthouse.

• Noon – Freedom Fest 2019 hosted by Causeyville Baseball Field and Community Club. The day will include a Miss Freedom Fest pageant, talent show, BBQ cook-off contest, games, inflatables, water slides, live music, and fireworks.

• 8 a.m.-1 p.m. – Earth’s Bounty at Singing Brakeman Park.

Sunday, July 7

• Reconciliation Sunday in observance of the 12th annual Reconciliation Celebration commemorating the 16th Anniversary of the 2003 Lockheed tragedy – Local pastors are encouraged to lead the congregation in prayer for reconciliation.

Monday, July 8

• 10:30 a.m.-noon – Free Lemonade and music at Dumont Plaza in observance of the 12th Annual Reconciliation Celebration commemorating the 16th Anniversary of the 2003 Lockheed tragedy.

• 11 a.m. – Adult Coloring – Begin turning in Reading Logs at the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library.

• 8:30-9:30 a.m. – Mission Mississippi Hour of Dialogue at City Hall. Facilitator Neddie Winters, Mission MS President in observance of the 12th Annual Reconciliation Celebration commemorating the 16th Anniversary of the 2003 Lockheed tragedy.

Saturday, July 13

• 11 a.m. – Memorial Motorcycle Ride led by the Queen City Cruisers from Lockheed to Forest Lawn Cemetery in observance of the 12th Annual Reconciliation Celebration commemorating the 16th Anniversary of the 2003 Lockheed tragedy.
