• RSVP is honoring 9/11 first responders and are asking churches, clubs, individuals, grocery and retail stores, etc. to donate cakes, cookies, or any baked goods, or store-bought items for this worthy cause. RSVP volunteers will distribute these items to the Meridian Police Deptartment, Meridian fire stations, Metro Ambulance, the 911 Call Center, LEMA, Red Cross, Mississippi Highway Patrol, the Salvation Army, and Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Deptartment.
