• Possession of controlled substance/two counts – Whitney Stapp, born in 1993, homeless.

• Driving under the influence/first offense/other – Melissa A. Bracken, born in 1987, 8827 Whippoorwill Road, Lot 16, Meridian.

• Public drunk – Bruce A. Harris, born in 1984, 1923 11th Ave., Meridian. Harris is also charged with disorderly conduct.

• Simple assault – Ricky D. Ezell, born in 1961, 1705 Old Marion Road, Meridian. Ezell is also charged with malicious mischief, simple assault/threat.

• Possession of paraphernalia – Brandy M. Matthews, born in 1987, 2015 Mosby Rd. Apt. L-8, Meridian.

• Destroying city property – Dontay J. Horne, born in 1996, 1213 44th Ave., Meridian. Horne is also charged with public profanity, disturbance of a family, disorderly conduct.

• Felony DUI – Norris Culberson, 56, 2113 22nd Ave., Meridian.

• Failure to register as a sex offender/non-compliant – Jarrett Nelson, 36, 1243 Nelson Lane, Edwards.

Commercial burglary

• 1900 block of Hwy. 19N at 3:36 a.m.

Auto burglary

• 2400 block of 16th Ave. at 6:36 p.m.

• 100 block of Hwy. 11/80 at 7:10 p.m.

Residential burglary

• 5000 block of 1st St. at 2:21 p.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 8 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on the scene, there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday.

• Possession of methamphetamine – Alex Trevor Alday, 28, 8395 Kewanee Road, Lauderdale.

• Suspended driver’s license – Zachery Keith Allen, 26, 8439 Okatibbee Dam Road, Meridian. Allen is also charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, insurance card law in the vehicle, petit larceny.

• Child abuse – Kimberly Rochelle Carter, 35, 5175 Causeyville Road, Meridian.

• Probation violation/parole – Kristy Ann Graham Dickerson, 34, 968 Line Creek Road, Martin.

• Domestic violence – Toriano Dubose Jr., 25, 2218 34th Ave., Meridian.

• Burglary-dwelling house – Larry Gene Fairchild, 34, 2279 Jeff Davis School Road, Meridian.

• Suspended driver’s license – NQuashell Franklin, 18, 200 23rd St. Apt. B 184, Meridian. Franklin is also charged with no liability insurance, no license tag.

• No driver’s license – Jakeekus DeShawn Hampton, 22, 1005 29th Ave., Meridian.

• DUI/first offense – Lavonte Harris, 19, 401 Greenhill Rd., Toomsuba. Harris is also charged with no liability insurance.

• Felony DUI – Henry Matthews Jr., 60, 1139 Old Hwy. 80W, Meridian.

• Uttering forgery – Veronica Vashona McIntosh, 44, 3111 27th Ave, Meridian.

• DUI/first offense – Richard Earl McQuarley, 24, 916 56th Ave., Meridian.

• Suspended driver’s license – Orthez Sanquel Payne, 30, 8155 Prisock Road, Lauderdale.

• No license tag – Jose Pablo Ramirez, 18, 4300 12th St., Tuscaloosa, Ala.

• Domestic violence – Daniel Paul Ricks, 38, 6061 Wesley Chapel Road, Meridian.

• Felony DUI/fourth offense – Ladarius Dewayne Rush, 28, 2015 Mosby Road, Meridian. Rush is also charged with improper equipment, no liability insurance, no driver’s license, child endangerment, possession of marijuana in a vehicle, disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, child restraint law.

• Possession of controlled substance/two counts – Liltavious C. Smith, 27, 3302 69th Ave., Meridian. Smith is also charged with improper equipment, improper license tag display, suspended driver’s license – no liability insurance.

• Suspended driver’s license – Kyle Lee Tullos, 24, 9314 Lauderdale Toomsuba Road, Lauderdale. Tullos is also charged with expired tag, improper equipment.

• DUI/first offense – Timothy Williams, 35, 29 A Northtown Road A., Jackson. Williams is also charged with seat belt violation, suspended driver’s license, no liability insurance, improper equipment.

• Aggravated assault – Ronnie Lee Womack, 43, 7701 A Barnhill Rd., Collinsville. Womack is also charged with child support failure to pay.
