AUBURN, Ala. (AP) — Johni Broome had 30 points and 17 rebounds as No. 4 Auburn beat North Alabama 102-69. Denver Jones added 13 points and a career-high nine assists for the Tigers. Chad Baker-Mazara and Miles Kelly both scored 12. Auburn fell behind twice in the first half but was able to take firm control in the final minutes before halftime. Broome scored 16 first-half points in the final 7:35 alone. Jacari Lane led the Lions with 16 points.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — No. 17 Clemson and No. 19 South Carolina will have to wait an extra week before a final chance to impress College Football Playoff selectors about a long-shot berth in the 12-team field. The Tigers and Gamecocks finish the regular-season at Clemson on Nov. 30 with plenty of positives along with regrets about their chances going forward. Clemson finished 7-1 in the ACC, but needs help from No. 11 Miami and No. 13 SMU for a spot in the league title game. Three-loss South Carolina is the hottest team in the SEC, having beaten three straight ranked league opponents.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Adou Thiero scored 23 points, and No. 20 Arkansas pulled away from Pacific for a 91-72 victory. Thiero was 8 for 10 from the field as Arkansas shot 60% as a team. Boogie Fland scored 20 points, and Zvonimir Ivisic finished with 15. D.J. Wagner had 14 points and five assists. Pacific lingered until the final 12 minutes, pulling within two at one juncture. But the Tigers went more than eight minutes without a field goal and Arkansas kept building its lead.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Flau’jae Johnson scored 27 points and Aneesah Morrow had 23 points and 13 rebounds as No. 7 LSU beat Troy 98-59 Monday night. Johnson, who also had nine rebounds and five assists, scored 19 of her points in the first half as the Tigers (5-0) built a 58-24 lead at halftime. Morrow’ had her 78th career-double. Mikaylah Williams added 14 points and Jersey Wolfenbarger scored 12. Troy (1-4) was led by Ashley Baez with 12 points. Fortuna Ngnawo had 10.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Georgia Amoore had 23 points, Dazia Lawrence scored 21, and the pair combined for nine 3-pointers as No. 15 Kentucky pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat Purdue Fort Wayne 79-67. Lawrence made 8 of 15 shots — 5 of 8 from beyond the arc — for the Wildcats (5-0), who trailed for 28:21 in the game. Amoore hit 7 of 18 shots — 4 of 9 from distance — and 5 of 6 free throws. She added seven assists. Lauren Ross sank four 3-pointers and scored 14 of her 21 points in the first quarter, to lead Purdue Fort Wayne to a 23-19 lead. The Mastodons (2-2) never trailed in taking a 38-33 lead into halftime.

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Sira Thienou scored a career-high 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting and No. 17 Mississippi defeated Jackson State 76-44 in a Kids Day matinee. The Rebels took control in the third quarter when they stretched a nine-point halftime lead to 54-30. Ole Miss hit 9 of 18 shots while the Tigers were 3 of 14 with eight turnovers. Ole Miss turned 29 Jackson State turnovers into 33 points and scored 14 more points at the foul line. Talea Dilworth and Diaka Berete both had 10 points for the Tigers. First-year coach Margaret Richards took over a team that has no returning players after making the NCAA Tournament last year. The Rebels shot 32% in the first half, 51% in the second.

UNDATED (AP) — TCU has entered The Associated Press Top 25 women’s basketball poll at No. 19, the school’s best ranking in 16 years. The first 12 teams in the Top 25 remained unchanged with South Carolina once again a unanimous choice at No. 1. The Gamecocks were followed by UConn, USC, Texas and UCLA. The Gamecocks and Bruins will play on Sunday a day after No. 6 Notre Dame visits the Trojans. LSU, Iowa State, Oklahoma and Kansas State round out the top 10.

UNDATED (AP) — Kansas strengthened its grip on No. 1 in the AP Top 25. The rest of the top 10 turned into a jumble of teams swapping places. The Jayhawks picked up five first-place votes in The Associated Press men’s college basketball poll, receiving 49 from a 61-person media panel. No. 2 UConn, No. 3 Gonzaga and No. 4 Auburn all received votes. The shuffling started with No. 8 Alabama’s loss to No. 6 Purdue, a game that dropped the Crimson Tide six spots and bumped the Boilermakers up seven. Losses by Duke and Arizona shook up the top 10.
