Alice Williamson, of Meridian, is one of six Southern Miss Golden Eagles who have been named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District Women’s Soccer Team, as announced by College Sports Communicators.

Williamson is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and is the daughter of Nate and Amanda Williamson.

Other honorees include Kesaia Bruni, Ishpreen Marwah,, Adaira Nakano, Shaelynn Quick and Mallory Tapper. These standout student-athletes were among 55 selections from the Sun Belt Conference.

Williamson also was recently recognized by the conference in its annual release of academic awards, including the Commissioner’s List, Academic Honor Roll and 1A FAR Academic Excellence Award.

She was among 98 Golden Eagles who earned a spot on the Commissioner’s List after finishing with a 3.5 GPA or higher during the 2023-2024 academic year.
