Man's body found in Meridian lake

A man was killed after getting hit by an 18-wheeler on Interstate 20 Thursday evening in Meridian.

Around 5:30 p.m., the man was crossing the roadway when he was hit by the truck, said  Meridian Police Officer Rachel McCord. 

McCord said the man’s identity is not being released and the accident is under investigation .
