Students at Clarkdale Attendance Center will begin classes later than their peers at other Lauderdale County schools after a power failure early Tuesday morning, the Lauderdale County School District announced.
In a statement, LCSD Superintendent John-Mark Cain said power crews are working to resolve the outage, and service is expected to be available by 8:30 a.m. Classes for Clarkdale students will begin at 9 a.m.
“We appreciate your patience as teams work to restore power and ensure that we have a great school day,” Cain said.
