West, Southeast split games in in-county contest

Athletes from Southeast Lauderdale and West Lauderdale took to the basketball court Friday as the two local teams faced off in an in-county matchup.

West Lauderdale came away with the win in the boys basketball contest, ending the game with a score of 64-49, while Southeast girls defeated the Knights 32-30.

Both teams will take a few days off for the Christmas holiday before competing in the Sam Dale Tournament Friday.
