Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

April 8

  • Willful trespassing, simple assault and disturbance of a business — 1900 24th Ave., Meridian
  • Trespassing — 10276 Road 212 Apt. 18E, Philadelphia
  • Simple assault — 5437 Fish Lodge Rd., Meridian
  • Domestic violence and resisting arrest — 4658 Zero Rd., Meridian
  • Petit larceny and disorderly conduct — 1306 33rd Ave., Meridian
  • Domestic violence — 2213 Hillcrest Dr., Meridian

  • Auto burglary — 100 block of Highway 1

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

April 5

  • Willful trespass and failure to pay
  • Failure to dim headlights, expired tag, insurance violation and driving with suspended/revoked driver’s license

April 6

  • Speeding on state highway, reckless driving, following too closely and vehicle liability insurance failure second offense
  • DUI first offense, endangering a child by DUI first offense and Possession of marijuana in vehicle
  • Failure to dim headlights, failure to maintain liability insurance and no/expired driver’s license

April 7

  • DUI first offense, failure to dim headlights, insurance violation and improper turn
  • Court order/mandatory days
  • Simple domestic violence first offense
  • DUI first offense and speeding on state highway
  • Speeding 20-29mph over limit and suspended driver’s license

April 8

  • Possession of marijuana in vehicle, DUI other substance first offense and failure to dim headlights
  • Controlled substance:sale of paraphernalia x2
  • Probation violation
  • Burglary; all but dwelling x7
  • No/expired driver’s license
  • Disorderly conduct: interfering with lawful order
  • Failure to dim headlights, no/expired driver’s license and failure to maintain liability insurance
