Vita Jeanne Gault Jolly

    Services for Vita Jeanne Jolly will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Webb Chapel, with Pastor Jack Giles officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Jolly, 83, of Meridian, went home to her Jesus on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed writing poetry, traveling, and word puzzles. She was employed at Naval Air Station in Meridian for 35 years as a communications specialist and attended The Church of The Way. She was a member of the Suqualena chapter of the Eastern Star.

    Survivors include her husband, Jerry Clyde Jolly; daughters, Virginia Gale Jolly and Linda Dianne Jolly McDonald and her husband, Chris; grandchildren, Michael and J.D. McDonald; great-grandchildren, Adrian, Gabrielle, E’Owyn, and MiaKoda McDonald; sisters, Ann Lee, Joan Bunyard, Emily Sheely, and Judy Fletcher; brothers, Bill, Jim, and Mickey Gault; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Jo; son, Jerry Clyde Jolly Jr.; parents, E.E. and Gladys Gault; brothers, E.E. “PeeWee” Gault Jr., Wilson “Shorty” Gault, and Larry Gault Sr.

    Pallbearers will be nephews, Mike Boland, Joey Redmond, Eddie Sheely, Russell Jolly, Jason Gault, and Ron Gault.
