Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:
Misdemeanors
• Trespassing – Kristy Ann May-Fuller, 35, 5874 Vimville Causeyville Road, Meridian.
• Shoplifting – Christopher Dale Porter, 38, 3410 North Shore Drive, Toomsuba. Porter is also charged with contempt of court.
• Simple assault, domestic – Richard E. Edwards, born in 1971, 2518 31st Ave., Meridian.
• Simple assault, domestic – Keyetta L. May, born in 1979, 2518 31st Ave., Meridian.
• Shoplifting – Kiara L. Mayhem, born in 1991, 2112 20th Ave., Meridian.
• Shoplifting – Bethany A. Smith, born in 1990, 3400 North Shore Drive, Meridian.
• Allowing animal to run at large – Victor Kearly, born in 1962, 3502 41st St., Meridian.
• Malicious mischief – Teeciya Mitchell, born in 1997, 4326 Terry St., Meridian.
• Driving under the influence (DUI) – Johnny Reynolds, born in 1982, 10267 Morgan Road, Meridian.
• Petit larceny – Jamercus Watson, born in 1996, 4604 Paulding St., Meridian.
• Shoplifting – Charlene S. Farrington, born in 1981, 3528 35th Ave., Meridian. Farrington is also charged with possession of paraphenalia.

Burglary
• 6100 block of 32nd Street, Meridian.
Commercial Burglaries
• 1400 block of Roebuck Drive, Meridian.
• 2200 block of Highway 19 North, Meridian.
• 2300 block of South Frontage Road, Meridian.
Robbery
• 3000 block of Seventh Street, Meridian.
Residential Burglaries
• 4600 block of Broadmoor Drive, Meridian.
• 300 block of Old Country Club Drive, Meridian.
• 2500 block of Ninth Street, Meridian.
Shootings
Meridian police responded to 5 shots-fired calls. Officers were unable to find evidence to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:
• DUI, first offense – Douglas Louis Chaney, 35, 82 Coleman Court, Lisman, Ala.
• DUI, first offense – Melanie Christian, 53, 2290 New Hope Church Road, Lauderdale. Christian is also charged with driving with an expired license and expired tag.
• DUI, first offense – Laquincy Quanard Evans, 32, 681 Johnson St., Cuba, Ala. Evans is also charged with six counts of failure to appear (justice court).
• DUI, other substance – Denise Tishall Ezell, 27, 5121 Fifth St., Meridian. Ezell is also charged with reckless driving.
• Burglary of commercial building, cars, etc. – Shannon W. Goforth, 42, 9160 Mae Crocker Circle, Lauderdale.
• DUI, first offense – Brandon Nicholas Hickman, 31, 203 North Hills St., Meridian.
• Burglary of commercial building, cars, etc. – Landis Jeremiah Kelley, 29, 212 McKee St., Senatobia. Kelley is also being held for outside agency.
• DUI,first offense – George McRae, 53, 408 Skyland Road, Lisman, Ala.
• Simple assault, domestic – Andrew Damond Miller, 223, 502 Terry Road, Lauderdale. Miller is also charged with seat-belt violation, no liability insurance and driving with a suspended license.
• DUI, first offense – Amanda K. Osborne, 27, 12961 Rocky Ridge Road, Collinsville. Osborne is also charged with careless driving.
• Simple assault on a police officer – Jocquece Jamar Pace, 35, 5919 40th Court, Meridian. Pace is also charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, no liability insurance, seat-belt violation and possession of paraphernalia.
• DUI, first offense – Patrick Gregory Pedersen, 23, 14995 Hickory Little Rock Road, Little Rock. Pedersen is also charged with careless driving.
• DUI, first offense – Michael E. Scitzs, 45, 455 Poplar Ridge Drive, Meridian.
• DUI, first offense – Kevin Lee Spears, 31, 727 53rd Ave., Meridian. Spears is also charged with avoiding roadblock, driving with a suspended license, no liability insurance, child endangerment and probation violation.
• Simple assault, domestic – James Aaron Swain, 39, 8008 Pine Springs Drive, Meridian.
