Warren County investigator Chris Satcher testified Thursday that family members found Pete Patton’s body about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Satcher said Pete Patton was found lying on the floor with the blade of a 26-inch camping ax lodged in his throat.
He says Joseph Patton was arrested after deputies reviewed video from a nearby Home Depot that showed the suspect buying the ax.
Online jail records did not list an attorney for Joseph Patton.
