Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:
• Possession of stolen property – Jade Zania Hall, 20, 16580 Whitcomb Road, Detroit, Mich. Hall is also charged with disorderly conduct.
• Domestic violence – Marquez Demon Moton, 19, 804 16th St., Meridian. Moton is also charged with contempt of court.
• Willful trespassing – Carolyn Ann Pratt, 47, 2900 St. Paul St., Meridian.
• Possession of stolen property – Creshone R. Allen, born in 1994.
• Disorderly conduct – Jaimeca Johnson, born in 1993.
Incident Reports
The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Monday to Tuesday:
Auto Burglaries
• 200 block of North Hills Street, Meridian.
• 200 block of South Frontage Road, Meridian.
Residential Burglaries
• 1900 block of 19th Street, Meridian.
• 3300 block of Old Marion Road, Meridian.
Shooting
Meridian police responded to one shots-fired call. Officers were unable to find evidence to support the call.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:
• Fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle – Alex Trevor Alday, 25, 8395 Kewanee Road, Lauderdale. Alday is also charged with careless driving, no liability insurance, switched tag/license plate, false pretense and seat-belt violation.
• Possession of controlled substance, two counts – Victor Manuel Estrada, 43, 417 Corpus Cristi, Laredo, Texas.
• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute – Damon Cameron Shirey, 33, 377 Hickory Lane, Meridian. Shirey is also charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, felon in possession of a firearm, burglary of commercial building and fraudulent use of identity.
• Possession of marijuana, more than 30 grams – Teresa Leighann Shirey, 32, 377 Hickory Lane, Meridian. Shirey is also charged with burglary of commercial building, cars, etc.

• Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) with injuries, Whipporwill Road (Suqualena)
