EMCF holds 2024 GED graduation

Friends, families and staff at East Mississippi Correctional Facility celebrated Friday, June 21, as they recognized 23 students for their academic achievements at the 2024 GED graduation. Graduates included students achieving their GED, Inside Out Dad, and Employability Skills for Career certificates.
Marion Mayor Larry Gill, who served as keynote speaker, spoke to the graduates about the importance of making good choices and seizing opportunities.
“Life is about chances and choices, and it must be taken seriously because one moment can change your life forever,” he said.
