Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

    • Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Michael Guerrero, 40, 3315 North Hills St. Apt. 104, Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct – Joseph Howard, 25, 313 Fifth St., Bloomfield, N.M.

    • Petit larceny, up to $1,000 – Ron Keith Lewis, 42, 12 Park Place, Livingston, Ala. Lewis is also charged with trespassing and contempt of court.

    • Trespassing – William Dashun Love, 31, 406 Boremore, Bailey. Love is also charged with giving false information, disturbance in a public place, shoplifting and simple assault.

    • Disorderly conduct – Terry D. Odom, 45, 2207 Shields Alley, Meridian. Odom is also charged with resisting arrest and willful trespassing.

    • Simple assault on a police officer – Gerald Jermaine Phillips, 30, 2209 19th Ave., Meridian. Phillips is also charged with careless driving, no liability insurance and driving with a suspended license.

    • Failure to appear (justice court), three counts – Michael Curtis Russell, 33, 121 Boler Road, Union. Russell is also charged with possession of marijuana, first offense and giving false ID information.

    • Disorderly conduct – Lester Clifton Sanders, 49, homeless.

    • Shoplifting – Melissa A. Lure, born in 1978.

    • Shoplifting – Dewashia M. Lure, born in 1997.

    • Shoplifting – Taylor A. Hinton, born in 1997.

    • Shoplifting – Deborah M. Pearson, born n 1988.

    • Simple assault – Kerwin Dawson, bornin 1980, 1132 Clarke Road, Meridian. Dawson is also charged with possession of marijuana.

    • Simple assault – Cordecco M. Gale, born in 1990.

    • Simple assault – Bobby G. Moss, born in 1986, 902 27th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI – Donald D. Pruitt, born in 1961.

    • Public drunk – Morris R. Robinson, born in 1986.

    • Disorderly conduct – Cynthia Jones, born in 1988.

    • Possession of marijuana – Johnny Patton, born in 1981.

    • Petit larceny – Samson R. Jones, born in 1979.

    • Simple assault – Sheron L. Seaphus, born in 1973. Seaphus is also charged with malicious mischief.

    • DUI – Michael C. Gault, born in 1969.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Friday to Monday:

Auto Burglaries

     • 4900 block of 15th Street, Meridian.

    • 500 block of 49th Avenue, Meridian.

    • 2700 block of Saint Luke Street, Meridian.

 

Residential Burglaries

    • 1800 block of 24th Street, Meridian.

    • 2900 block of 49th Avenue, Meridian.

    • 2400 block of Fourth Avenue, Meridian.

    • 3200 block of Northview Drive, Meridian.

    • 2300 block of 24th Avenue, Meridian.

    • 600 block of 21st Street, Meridian.

    • 1400 block of 26th Avenue, Meridian.

    • 900 block of 26th Avenue, Meridian.

Shootings

     • 4600 block of Paulding Street, Meridian.

    • 1200 block of 29th Avenue, Meridian.

    • 2100 block of 12th Avenue, Meridian.

    Meridian police responded to 8 shots-fired calls. Officers were unable to find evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

    • DUI, first offense – Alejandro Barron, 28, 700 Coyote Trail, Pharr, Texas. Barron is also charged with careless driving, expired tag, no liability insurance and driving without a license.

    • DUI, first offense – Robert Edward Dalton, 42, 6367 Blind Brown Road, Bailey. Dalton is also charged with careless driving, no turn signal, no liability insurance and public profanity.

    • Public drunk – Johnny Frank Gowdy, 52, 9735 Gowdy Road, Lauderdale.

    • Contraband in correctional facility – Randy Carl Marshall Sr., 25, 4408 Robin Hood Drive, Pascagoola.

    • Failure to pay child support – Eddie Lavon Mosley, 38, 5001 First St., Meridian.

    • Failure to appear (justice court), three counts – Demarcus Sanchez Naylor, 25, 4330 Leroy Naylor Road, Lauderdale.

    • DUI, other substances – Deltrick Lashawn Portis, 31, 615 64th Ave., Meridian. Portis is also charged with possession of marijuana, first offense.

    • Failure to pay child support, two counts – Jimmy Lee Rackley, 45, 2950 TM Jones Road, Meridian.

    • DUI, first offense – Anthony Luis Rivera, 33, 12055 CR 1139, Tyler, Texas. Rivera is also charged with disregard of traffic device.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents from Friday to Monday:
