Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday:
• Disorderly conduct – Christian S. Bennett, 29, 1422 18th St., Meridian.
• Fugitive from justice – Robert J. Kaiser Jr., 29, 233 Cemetery St., Berwick, Pa.
• Violation of court order agreement – Kenneth Neal, born in 1985, 6338 Mosley Lake, Meridian.
• Domestic violence – Ronald Robinson, born in 1969, 2200 26th Ave., Meridian.
• Domestic violence – Keyarow Nathan, born in 1989, 2200 26th Ave., Meridian.
• Driving under the influence (DUI) – Eric Roberts, born in 1970, 2016 26th Ave., Meridian. Roberts is also charged with speeding.
• Domestic violence – Michael Branch, born in 1977, 200 23rd St., Meridian.
• Shoplifting – Heather L. Walters, born in 1997.
• Shoplifting – Natalie L. Cole, born in 1986, 1906 26th Ave., Meridian.
• Giving false information – Laporcha Littleton, born in 1992, 229 C St., Meridian.
• Simple assault – Monica Lot, born in 1986, 2427 Fourth Ave., Meridian.
• Malicious mischief – Jecobie Q. Chaney, born in 1987, 627 64th Ave., Meridian.
The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Monday to Wednesday:
Auto Burglaries
• 3800 block of Paulding Street, Meridian.
• 3800 block of 15th Street, Meridian.
• 2700 block of Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian.
• 1200 block of 32nd Avenue, Meridian.
• 3600 block of 24th Avenue, Meridian.
• 2400 block of 33rd Avenue, Meridian.
• 2700 block of 41st Avenue, Meridian.
Residential Burglaries
• 1800 block of 26th Avenue, Meridian.
Shootings
• 1200 block of 37th Avenue, Meridian.
Meridian police responded to 13 shots-fired calls. Officers were unable to find evidence to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday:
• Fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle – Allen James Brooks Jr., 45, 8827 Whipperwill Road Lot 1, Meridian. Brooks is also charged with kidnapping.
• Probation violation/parole – Jeremy Gerome Campbell, 28, 3729 19th Court, Meridian.
• DUI, second offense – Breanna Katelyn Guthrie, 20, 6591 Sunny Lane, Toomsuba. Guthrie is also charged with driving with a suspended license.
• Disorderly conduct – Lakeith Hare, 24, 5648 Cooper Circle, Meridian. Hare is also charged with resisting arrest, domestic violence and giving false ID information.
• Capitol murder – Donald Wayne Jones Jr., 29, 41 Fairchild Road, Meridian. Jones is also charged with burglary of dwelling, two counts of felon in possession of a firearm and petit larceny, up to $1,000.
• Disorderly conduct – Timothy Lavon Jordan, 23, 910 28th Ave., Meridian.
• Sale of methamphetamine – Delma Lanell Pruett, 38, 5321 Vimville Causeyville Road, Meridian.
• Disorderly conduct – Robert Louis Randle Jr., 33, 2376 Russell Mount Gilead Road, Meridian. Randle is also charged with trespassing and public drunk.
• Failure to appear (justice court) – Celica Reed, 24, 130 Beatle Road, Yantley, AL.
• Failure to register as a sex offender, two counts – John Paul Scott, 47, 1306 12th Ave., Meridian. Scott is also charged with probation violation/parole and being held for outside agency.
• Failure to pay (justice court) – Travis Eugene Sullivan, 22, 1534 Long Creek Road, Meridian.
• Embezzlement (officer, trustees, public employees) – Lisa Diana Turner, 50, 6976 Hwy 11, Enterprise.
