MCC’s Dimensions begin rehearsals for season

   Meridian Community College’s singing and dancing performance group, Dimensions, now are actively rehearsing for upcoming events for the fall semester, said Tammy Miles, managing/artistic director.

     Twenty students comprise this scholarship auditioned group, Miles noted.

     Freshmen members include Jamie Murray, Terren Sande, Kristen Hull, Adreana Bradley, Abby Jackson, Ryder Leifried, Caleb Landrum, Laquinton Holliday and Michael Bittick, all of Meridian; Morgan Wall of Knoxville, Tenn.; Katelyn Belcher of Dilwyn, Va.; and Mariah Morgan of Grand Junction, Colo.

     Sophomores include Aaliyahpaige Lee, Samantha Hoskins, Rebecca Mowdy, Jonathon Collins, Seth Read, Joseph Robinson and Brandon Davidson, all of Meridian; and Shonda Wesley of Choctaw.

     Mitch Brantley serves as instrumental director; Daniel Boles is the technical director.

     Performances scheduled for the fall term include that of Phi Theta Kappa Street Strut and Race for Life, Oct. 4; Northeast High School, Oct. 13; Clarkdale High School and Southeast High School, Oct. 14; West Lauderdale High School, Oct. 15; Phi Hardin Foundation Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration, Oct. 15; MCC Foundation Celebration, Nov. 4.
