Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday:
• Interfering with Police – Shutretina Tamayo, born 1972, 3240 46th Street, Meridian.

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from 9 a.m. Thursday to 9 a.m. Friday:
Armed Robbery
• 4300 block of 8th Street
Auto Burglary
• 4300 block of Highway 39 North
• 200 block of North Hills Street
• 2400 block of Old Marion Road
Residential Burglary
• 4100 block of 59th Place
• 4800 block of 48th Avenue
Shootings
• Meridian Police Officers responded to 1 shots fired call. When Officers arrived on scene they were unable to locate evidence to support the call.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday:
• Felony DUI, Suspended driver’s license – Jacqueline O. Brown, 43, 8108 Barnhill Rd., Meridian. Brown also faces two charges for child endangerment, careless driving, improper equipment and a child restraint law violation.
• Probation violation – Corey Tyrell Chambers, 22, 3235 Russell Gilead Mt Rd., Meridian.
• Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute – Cassandra Faye Hill, 43, 107 71st Pl., Meridian. Hill also faces charges of possession of cocaine and sale of methamphetamine.
• Driving under the influence – 1st offense – Michael Douglas Miller, 34, 3059 Laud Rd., Lauderdale. Miller also faces charges of no liability insurance and a seat belt violation.
• Prohibition, deadly weapon or contraband in jail – Elizabeth Redmond, 32, 7691 Pine Springs Rd., Meridian.
• Petit Larceny (up to $1,000) – Jessica Noel Sheffield, 23, 511 Author St., Collinsville.
• Contempt of court/child support – Casey C. Spencer, 24, 904 30th Avenue, Meridian.
• Contempt of court/held for investigation – Willie Earl Taylor, 27, 2923 Davis St., Meridian.
