The Southern Debutante Assembly will present its 2014 honorees at its annual Presentation and White and Gold Ball, which will be held Dec. 30 at the Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood. Local residents among the group of young ladies to be presented include:

     Caroline Janne Thomas, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Anthony Lee Thomas of Meridian. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Selwin Harrison of Union and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lavell Thomas of Philadelphia.

    A graduate of the Lamar School in Meridian, Miss Thomas is attending Mississippi State University in Starkville, where she is a member of Chi Omega sorority. She will be presented by her father.

    Savannah Layne Ward, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Granberry Holland Ward III of Meridian. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Harold Catlett and the late Mr. and Mrs. Granberry Holland Ward Jr., all of Meridian.

    A graduate of the Lamar School in Meridian, Miss Ward attends the University of Mississippi in Oxford, where she is a member of Chi Omega sorority. Her father will present her at the ball.
