    The Meridian Queen City Duplicate Bridge Club hosted an awards luncheon and bridge game for exceptional players and their supporters in 2012.

    Seventeen tables from District 10, Unit 138 of the Mississippi Bridge Association enjoyed a great lunch and the hospitality of Northwood Country Club. Beginners and advanced players were recognized with awards in two categories.

    The Ace of Clubs awards goes to winners of the most points earned at individual clubs. The Mini-Mckenny awards goes to winners of the most points earned at clubs and tournament games. These awards are given from the 0-5 point level through the 10,000 and above level.

    The Meridian Queen City Duplicate Bridge Club plays a sanctioned American Contract Bridge League game on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 p.m. at Meridian Activity Center. Lessons are also offered.
