A convicted sex offender, who authorities said consistently refuses to register as such, was arrested Thursday for the eighth time by investigators of the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department.
Paul Andrew Selensky III, 29, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender and placed on $10,000 bond. Selensky has given two addresses, 5866 Gene Carr Road and 910 Highway 19 North as his primary residences.
Selensky was convicted in July 2003 of the molestation of a 4-year-old girl in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Selensky then moved to Lauderdale County after his release from prison.
The Mississippi Sex Offender Registry, maintained and updated by the Mississippi Department of Public Health, lists 166 sex offenders living in Meridian and Lauderdale County.
