Miss Bennett, Mr. Holloman

    Mr. and Mrs. William E. “Bo” Bennett III of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Bonnie Durrant, to Alex Holloman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Holloman of Quitman.

    The wedding will be Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 5 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church.

    Miss Bennett is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jean Merritt and the late George Merritt of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bennett of Bryant, Ark.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of Russell Christian Academy. She will be a December graduate candidate of Mississippi State University.

    While attending MSU, she was a member of Phi Mu sorority, Mississippi State Roadrunners, the Bulldog Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, Student Association and Kappa Delta Pi honor society.

    Mr. Holloman is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Spivey of Quitman and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Holloman of Quitman.

    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Quitman High School and attended Meridian Community College.

    Mr. Holloman is employed by Ensign US Drilling.

    A reception will be held at Mississippi Industrial Historical Museum at Soule Steam Feed Works.
