Miss Deal, Mr. Linton

    Andy and Tracy Deal of Columbia announce the engagement of their daughter, Regan Patricia, to Joseph Andrew Linton, son of Andy and Sue Linton of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at Miramar Beach, Fla.

    Miss Deal is the granddaughter of Dick and Jo Deal of Columbia, and the late Altus and Pat Brumfield of Columbia.

    The bride-elect received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2013. She is a 2005 graduate of Columbia High School.

    Miss Deal is currently enrolled in the marriage and family therapy master’s degree program at USM.

    Mr. Linton is the grandson of the late Rufus and Marguerite Linton of Meridian, and the late Lonnie B. Smith and Josephine Mabry Smith of Meridian.

    The bridegroom-elect received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mississippi State University. He is a 2003 graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School.

    Mr. Linton is employed by Innovate Mississippi in Ridgeland as an economic analyst.
