Lauren Nicole Denham and Brandon Christopher Pratt were united in marriage at Six O’clock in the evening on August 25, 2012. The wedding was held at Highland Baptist Church in Meridian. Dr. Carl White performed the double ring ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of the Reverend Franklin and Deborah Denham of Meridian. The groom is the son of Donald and Sharon Pratt of Bailey.

    Grandparents of the bride are Wilma and the late Robert Jones of Brandon and the late Otha Sevan and Helen Denham of Jackson.

    The bridegroom is the grandson of the late Elizabeth and Clifton Pratt of Bailey and the late Alline and Leo Salter of Philadelphia.

    Nuptial music was provided by pianist and organist Greer Goldman, Orchestra – Amy Lott, David Willson, Ronnie Posey, Susan Bowles, Bobbie Gibson and Danny Burton. Vocalists for the ceremony were Michelle Ricker, Chris Lee, and Reverend Franklin Denham. The Scripture was read by Carolyn McCay. Program Attendants were Caroline Kennard, Alexa Hogan, Mackenzie Ross, and Mary Ann McCarty. Mary Carlisle directed the wedding.

    Life-long friend of the bride Rebekah Wade of Bogalusa, La. served as Matron of Honor. The bride’s sister Shellie Denham was Maid of Honor.

    Bridesmaids were Mary Virginia Bost, college friend of the bride; Laurie Carlisle, college friend of the bride; Suzanne Hudson, life-long friend of the bride; Whitney Denham, sister-in-law of the bride; Abby Dennis, life-long friend of the bride; Cara Lea Fowler, life-long friend of the bride; Emily Hassell, college friend of the bride; Kate Salter, cousin of the groom; Mary Brook Thomas, college friend of the bride; Jeannie Zieren, college friend of the bride.

    Life-long friend of the Bride Elyse Parker Myers of Meridian served as Proxy Bride. The groom’s father Donald Pratt of Bailey served as his Best Man.

    Groomsmen were David R. Bailey III, life-long friend and roommate of the groom; John David Barr, life-long friend of the groom; Joshua Blackledge, college friend of the groom; Will Burroughs, college friend and roommate of the groom; Michael Busbee, life-long friend of the groom; Ben Davidson, life-long friend of the groom; Jonathan Davis, fraternity brother of the groom, Ragan Denham, brother of the bride; David Roberts, life-long friend and roommate of the groom; Ben Snyder, life-long friend of the groom; Mitchell Taylor, life-long friend of the groom; Neal Thomson, college friend and roommate of the groom.

    Flower Girls were Rebekah Baugh of Hattiesburg and Mary Michael Barnes of Brandon – both, cousins of the bride. Ring Bearers were Logan and Lawson Gibson of Ocean Springs – both, cousins of the bride.

    Given in marriage by her father, the Bride wore a fitted bodice and waistline in tulle and charmeuse which curved into the fit-and-flare length skirt. Lace appliqué flowed over the dress’s entirety, including the formation of cap sleeves. The gown featured a beautiful plunging neckline with contoured straps that continued to a keyhole back. A chapel length train and covered buttons complimented the elegant style of her dress. A handmade ivory diamond, rhinestone, and pearl sash was sewn across the waist. To compliment her dress, the bride wore a heart-shaped Tiffany locket engraved with her initials. The locket was a gift from the groom to commemorate their engagement in Central Park. The bride’s bouquet was fashioned from her Mother’s wedding gown and decorated with jewelry from the mothers and grandmothers of the bride and groom.

    To kickoff the wedding weekend the groom’s parents hosted a golf scramble and lunch at Briarwood Country Club for the groom and his attendants. Friday evening the groom’s parents hosted the wedding attendants and out of town guests at a Rehearsal Dinner at Weidmann’s Restaurant. On the morning of the wedding friends of the bride’s family hosted a bride’s brunch a Merrehope. At noon friends of the groom’s family hosted a gathering of the groom and his attendants for a celebration lunch at Mugshots.

    Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at Northeast Inn and Conference Center. The bride’s five-tiered cake was adorned with white butter cream roses and a piping design that mimicked the lace patterns of her dress. Guests danced to the music of the bans “Uncle Sam.” The groom chose an Ole Miss Stadium cake and a candy bar was provided for the guests.

    The engagement was announced with a cocktail party at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Justus. The party was catered by Lovin’ Spoonful Catering and was hosted by friends of the groom’s parents. A “Honey-Do Barbeque” honoring the groom and his friends was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Rosenbaum. Additional hosts included Sandy Singleton and Rick and Cena Moss. Music provided on the patio by Al Brown and Bubba Hampton. The bride was feted with a kitchen shower at a luncheon at Weidmann’s Restaurant hosted by Mrs. William Radcliffe and Mrs. Michael Harper. A Couples shower was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Entrekin, and was co-hosted by Rob and Bess Wilder and Rob and Elizabeth McKenzie. The ladies of Highland Baptist Church hosted a shower honoring the Bride and Groom. The home of Judge and Mrs. Jerry Mason was the setting for a formal dinner honoring the wedding party. Also hosting were Mr. and Mrs. Tony McDaniel, Mr. and Mrs. Archie McDonnell, and Mr. and Mrs. Brad Huff. A Tea for the bride was hosted by Mrs. Charlotte Waller and Mrs. Jeannie Zieran and other members of the Chi Omega Sorority. An afternoon shower was held in Meridian by Mrs. Theresa Gibson, Mrs. Cynthia Leonard and Mrs. Wilma Jones. During the 2012 Neshoba State Fair, the couple was honored by friends and family with a Luau at Cabin 16 on Founders Square.

    Following their honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple is at home in Meridian, Mississippi, where the groom is a Vice President with Community Bank and the bride is a Marketing Specialist for Workforce Development at Meridian Community College.
