    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9:14 a.m. Wednesday and 9:14 a.m. Thursday:

    • Indecent exposure – Melanie Crowe, 36, 3821 Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian.

    • Driving Under the Influence (DUI), first offense – Shelley Rose, 42, 3415 69th Ave. Rose is also charged failure to have liability insurance.

    • Shoplifting – Jody Albert Thwing, 48, 2428 Old Marion Road Apts., 6-46, Meridian. Thwing is also charged with contempt of court (three counts)

    • Trespassing – William Smith, Year of Birth (YOB): 1954, 12th Avenue.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday:

Residential Burglary

    • 4600 block of Broadmoor, daytime

Commercial Burglary

     • 2300 block of 45 north, nighttime

    • 6600 block of 80 west, nighttime

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 9:14 a.m. Wednesday and 9:14 a.m. Thursday:

    • Driving Under the Influence (DUI), first offense — Devin Scott Floyd, 29, 231 Mustang St., Sulphur, La.

    • Aggravated assault – Michael Martin Scott, 23, 809 35th Ave., Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents between 9:14 a.m. Wednesday and 9:14 a.m. Thursday:

    Assault

    • 10600 block of Highway 80 West, Meridian

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs on Wednesday:  

    • Cooking fire     Pinehurst Road

    • Extrication of victim Highway 45 South

    • Overpressure rupture 24th Avenue

    • False alarm Eighth Avenue

    • Smoke or odor removal Fourteenth Avenue

    • False alarm 28th Avenue

    • Dumpster fire 23rd Street

    • Public service 59th Place South

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 52 emergency runs Thursday at 2 p.m.
