After the graduation ceremony and receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice, Logan received his commission as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Fleming is one of few accepted into pilot training from the University of Alabama this year. His pilot training class will be training with the U.S. Navy as part of a Joint Service Undergraduate Pilot Training.

Fleming was one of only three cadets out of 50 candidates to receive an Air Force ROTC scholarship to the University of Alabama in 2008, and only 13 out of 100 cadets at UA to graduate this spring and receive a commission in the Air Force.

Fleming is the son of Anthony M. Fleming of Big Stone Gap, VA, and Kelly Pace Fleming of Prattville, AL; and the grandson of Bob Gwinn Fleming of Bay Springs, MS, and Tom and Margaret Pace of Newton, MS.

Fleming is currently scheduled to begin pilot training at North Whiting Field, Florida in December.

His family and friends are very proud of his achievements and wish him all the best in his career as an Air Force officer and pilot.
