    Funeral services for Richard E. Wright will be held Wednesday, at 1 p.m., at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006. A private cremation burial will be held at a later date. Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home of Metairie is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Wright, beloved husband and father, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at the age of 70. He was a Marine engineer who, with his wife, built a successful business from the ground up, recently celebrating 27 years. He served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a veteran of Vietnam. In his military career, he was promoted to rank of Corporal before being honorably discharged. Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a thoroughly dedicated man to the three things that mattered most to him: family, friends, and country.  

    Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Patsy; a son, Randy (Nicole); two daughters: Bonnie Juno and Beth Schwab (Michael); two grandchildren: Cameron and Gabriella; his only sister, Grace Bennett; and, many nieces and nephews.
