Mr. and Mrs. Wayne and Rita Daily of Bailey celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012. The couple were married Nov. 3, 1962, in Memphis, Tenn. A barbecue was hosted by their children: Teresa Davis and her husband, Jeff, of Bailey, Chris Daily and wife, Brandy, of Bailey, and Pat Daily and wife, Michelle, of Saltillo. The Dailys celebrated with their children, five grandchildren, close friends and family in the home of Jack and Betty Davis of Daleville. Mr. Daily retired from the United States Navy, then taught at Meridian Junior College and NTTC at NAS Meridian. Mrs. Daily retired from the credit union and MWR department at NAS Meridian after 27 years of service. Mrs. Daily is the former Rita Faye Dillard of Pontotoc.
