    NEWTON – Services for Bobbie Skinner Gibbs will be held Wednesday, at 2 p.m., at Newton County Funeral Home South with Bro. Gary Felton officiating. Burial will be in Newton County Memorial Gardens with Newton County Funeral Home South in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Gibbs, 68 of Newton, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Anderson Regional Medical Center – North in Meridian. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, loved taking care of her horses and dogs.

    Survivors include: Tereasa  Kellum and husband Chuck of Newton, Tammy Pendergrass and husband John of Newton, George Michael Gibbs and wife Seema of Los Angeles, Calif.; four sisters: Martha Tidwell, Patricia McGehee, Betty Gail Skinner, and Mary Collins, all of Newton; two brothers: Joel Skinner and Gerald Skinner, both of Newton; grandchildren: Caleb Terry, Gage Pendergrass, Alexis Pendergrass, Alli Kellum, and Trey Kellum; and, numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, J C Skinner and Bobbie Edwards Skinner; brother, Robert Earl Skinner; sister, Bobby Jean Cunningham; and nephew, Damon J Landers.

    Pallbearers will be Chris Weems, Donny Collins, Jay Collins, Colt Collins, Rush Segrest, and Robert Wayne Roberts.

    Visitation will be today, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
