    Services for Mildred Louise Oliver will be held Wednesday, at 2 p.m., at Newton County Funeral Home North with the Rev. Guy Odom officiating. Burial will be in Sand Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Newton County Funeral Home North in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Oliver, 85, of Hickory, died Monday, April 4, 2011, at her home. She was known for her wonderful cooking skills and beautiful flowers. She lovingly spent most of her life as a homemaker.

    Survivors include her daughters: Carol  Jean Robbins of Hickory, and Sherry Ann Robinson of Meridian;  sons: Ronnie Joe (Deborah) Hudson of Crystal Springs, and Rodney Dale (Lisa) Hudson of Olive Branch; step-daughter: Cathy (Steve) Barbee of Clinton, Tenn.; grandchildren: Tatia (Robert) McCaskill, Tracy (Tom) Sims, Brett Swain, Shane (Kim) Robinson, Chord Robinson, Keith Swain, Hillary (Tim) Goulding, Cameron (Jack) Ridgeway, Crystal (Billy) Drane, Shane Brauer and Shawn Brauer; great-grandchildren: Ellen McCaskill, Will McCaskill, Aidan Goulding, Chance Brock, John Cameron Ridgeway, Sarah Hamilton Ridgeway, Olivia Ridgeway, Brian Swain, Mackenzie Robinson, Mallory Claire Robinson, Avery Reese Robinson, Zack (Larrian) Swain and Zeb (Dana) Swain; and great-great-grandchildren: Daniel and Sarah Swain.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Ethel Moore Green; husband, Herb Oliver; daughter, Tanya Lynn Porter; beloved sons-in-law: Bill Robbins and Waddell Robinson

    Pallbearers will be Brett Swain, Shane Robinson, Chord Robinson, Vic Porter, Shane Brauer, Shawn Brauer, Robert McCaskill, Tom Sims and Billy Drane
