Mr. Meador, Miss Thompson

    The Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Gary D. Thompson of Walls announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Alice, to Jeremy Adrian Meador, son of Guy and Abbie Meador of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, May 21, 2011, at 4 p.m., at Jones Chapel Church of God.

    Miss Thompson is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Beverly of Clarksdale, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thompson of Philadelphia.

    The bride-elect received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Mississippi State University, and is currently working on her bachelor of science degree in nursing at the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a graduate of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Ridgeland.

    Mr. Meador is the grandson of H.S. and Elise Meador of Meridian, and Lois Dyer and the late James Dyer of Tuscaloosa, Ala.

    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School. He attended Meridian Community College and East Mississippi Community College.

    Mr. Meador is employed by Rick Justice Honda.

    A reception will be held at the church.
