    Services for Lawrence “Lala” Johnson will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Apostle Al D. Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Johnson, 53, of Meridian, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at his residence.

    Survivors include his wife, Jackie Johnson of Meridian; two children; three step-daughters; sisters and brothers; and, seven grandchildren.

    Visitation will be today, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home.
