• CLINTON – The Office of Academic Affairs at Mississippi College has named the following local and area students to the list of academic scholars for the 2010 fall semester.

    Named to the President’s List are: Callie A Covington, Ellen Taylor Gressett, Taylor Joseph Mabry, John Ross McCarty, Katie Elizabeth Tate Oates, and Andrew Nathaniel Sheely, all of Meridian; and Lauren Michelle Tardo of Collinsville.

    To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must maintain a 4.0 or “straight A’s,” based on a 4.0 system. The student must take a full course load of at least 12 semester hours of undergraduate credit with all academic courses impacting their grade point average.

     Named to the Dean’s List are: Kayla Michelle Allen, Kristie R Allen, Morgan Brady Holland, Briana M Ricker, Brieontae Obrien Taylor and Margaret Joan Walker, all of Meridian; and Regis Nicole Moore and Thomas Lamar Walton, both of Collinsville.
