Each individual brings a wealth of knowledge and love for this community to the table, as well as a healthy dose of integrity. I want to thank them personally and on behalf of the entire Rush organization for the commitment of their time and talents. I know that their involvement from the very beginning of the building phase will result in the new hospital being built with a great deal of input from the customer’s perspective. We are building this hospital to serve this community, and we trust that these dedicated board members’ involvement will help us shape the future of healthcare in Choctaw County in a manner that will allow all of us to be very proud.”
When complete, Choctaw General Hospital will consist of a 25-bed hospital in the new construction area encompassing 35,000 square feet on the north side of the present structure’s 36,000 square feet, for a total of 71,000 square feet of inpatient and outpatient care areas. The new Choctaw General Hospital is expected to open in early 2012.
